Dior Homme to Reveal Spring/Summer Video

The pain & beauty of Dior Homme

J'adore Dior! On Monday, forever trend-setting industry beacon Dior Homme is set to unveil a rather gritty short film presenting the new Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Following in the footsteps of the Lady Dior film campaigns, creative director Kris Van Assche has elected photographer Willy Vanderperre to shoot the piece featuring model Victor Nylander wearing select designs from the new fashion line. With muted lighting over a writhing Nylander, the film titled "The Time I Had Some Time Alone" is meant to convey Assche's affinity for deconstructed cuts, minimalism, and high finishes.

Paired with the main fashion campaign shot by none other than Karl Lagerfeld, eight stills from Vanderperre's 55-second film will be used for print advertisements in select global publications.

Launched in 2001, Dior Homme is the menswear division of Christian Dior and highly regarded as the label that introduced the unforgivingly slim silhouette for men which has taken the fashion industry by storm.
